Before submission

Submission Requirements

  1. You must be the sole author of the article.
  2. The article should not have been published previously outside your school.
  3. It (article) should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  4. The article must address a topic from the list of topics of interest provided.
  5. You are responsible for ensuring the article's readability in English; in-depth copy editing is not provided as part of the production process.
  6. You must submit the article yourself using your own registered account; submissions on behalf of others are not permitted.
  7. The submission process must be completed in a single session; do not exit at checkout or test file uploads.
  8. Under Affiliation, write your school name in full. You must have parental consent if you are under 18 years of age, to be published. 

Payment and Publication

  1. Your payment covers up to four publications within the calendar year (January-December) in the year the payment is made.
  2. Payments do not transfer to the next calendar year.
  3. All payments are waived for the year of 2024.

Format Requirements

  1. The article must include a cover letter and author details (MLA format).
  2. The article should be approximately 2,000 - 5,000 words, with a margin of 10% more or less (excluding the abstract, footnotes, and bibliography).
  3. An abstract of 150-200 words must be included.
  4. The title must not exceed 100 characters, including spaces.
  5. The article must be text-only, with no graphics such as charts, graphs, or tables.
  6. Acknowledgements for research assistance are not permitted.
  7. The article must use a referencing system with footnotes and a bibliography, such as APA, Harvard and MLA
    • A superscript number in the text where a source is cited, corresponding to a footnote at the bottom of the page.
    • Full citation details, listed alphabetically by the author's surname, in the bibliography at the end of the essay.
  8. Use a standard font, 12-point Times New Roman.
  9. The article file should be named with your first and last name. Upon upload, the file is renamed with an encrypted code but remains stored on the server as originally submitted.
  10. The article must be submitted in MS Word.
